The brushes are excellent. The quality is good, very soft, as in the photo. As for the sponge, it's also very soft and fluffy, but it has a strong smell of paint, so I washed it and it's stretched, it's memory foam or something, but still decent quality. All in all a great deal at a low price.

These are some of the best brushes I have ever used. Some reviews said they had a bad plastic smell and a slight odor so I used a brush cleaner and let them dry and the smell was gone. I only use them for powder, bronzer and highlighter but they are perfect for me. The additional inserted sponge is easily worth the purchase price of the brushes. I've been using the sponge for 3 months and have cleaned it at least once or twice a week and it still works as do the brushes.

These brushes were such a great purchase, they smelled really weird when I first got them but I just washed them in hot water, vinegar and Dawn dish soap and they were in Order.

Now I'll let you know that while they do break, they're actually very good brushes for the price. Two of my brushes are broken but I still use them. They work great.

Dear brushes. I've had them for a few months now and they work well. I've cleaned them dozens of times and not a single bristle has fallen out. I removed the star because on 3 the brush the handle was detached from the brush and I had to glue them together. It looks pretty ridiculous but the brushes are still good so I don't want to order a new set just yet.

The brushes arrived neatly packaged. I've read about the strong smell when they're new and I can be, but they smell nice. I haven't really used them so I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 but they seem very durable and great for a beginner like me. I will decide if I would buy them again after actually using them.

There isn't much of a difference in shape and size between the smaller brushes, so I'm only deducting one star because I would like more variety. I'm new to makeup so can't test this on quality brushes but they are decent for my needs. I think it's great that a cosmetic sponge is included. It has made my life so much easier!
