I wish you could use it with other mugs. The fact that you have to use Ember mugs killed me because I don't want to use that mug all the time.

I ordered 2 of these charging pads and after 6 months of use they stopped working properly. Sometimes they charged and other times they didn't charge. CATASTROPHE!

This product keeps your drink at the temperature you prefer. There is a problem with the base because when it gets wet it stops working. The instructions say so. I have a second charging station.

My previous device broke and I bought this one as a replacement. At the same time, I informed the company of the failure and replaced the failed device. Now I have a spare device as I feel the Ember system is a necessary addition to my office.

The first Ember cup and charger was a gift from my wife. The charging station lasted almost 10 months before it stopped charging. As you can see from the product photo, there are two small spring loaded pins that make contact with the bottom shell. The springs wear out and break, causing the pin to lose contact. I bought it to replace an original with a broken base. This one lasted about 9 months before doing the same thing. And the replacement cost is ridiculous.
