Big little scissors

The best thing is that the handles are really comfortable. I can use these very sharp scissors without hand cramps. Also, they really grab and hold the fabric when I'm cutting out small pieces.

Pros
  • crafts and sewing
Cons
  • injury

I bought these scissors at a quilt shop in Annapolis, Maryland. I accepted their offer and bought a 4" pair. I already have them put together they are perfect for quilted appliqués because of the jagged edges it grabs the fabric and stays on when cutting no slippage keeps the cut exactly where i wanted i would recommend these scissors especially for those who are throwing away the appliqués the curved scissors, since it is a Mercedes/BMW/Lexus application scissors, I am now buying another 4″.

Pros
  • Scissors
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Ideal for tying flies. Only the handles are ok.

They are very sharp and the serrated edge is perfect for it's intended purpose. fly knitting. They perfectly and accurately shave the hair of deer and elk. Nothing slips out, which is very important when cutting these materials. There would be 5 stars if the handles were more comfortable. They may be perfect for you but not for my hands.

With a snapping motion, like a seam ripper. So I originally used an open ended one, thinking it would work like regular scissors. But they only work in the tip area where they are serrated I think. So they wore out within 2-2.5 weeks. I can send anywhere to have it fixed, but ugh! And then just use the hints. But don't know. I'm going to…

I purchased these scissors from a quilt store in Annapolis, Maryland. Took up their offer and bought a 4" pair. Best decision I've made have ever met. They are perfect for quilting appliqués. Because it has jagged edges it grabs the fabric and stays in place as you cut. There is no slippage which ensures the evenness of the cut. where I wanted.
