I already have them put together they are perfect for quilted appliqués because of the jagged edges it grabs the fabric and stays on when cutting no slippage keeps the cut exactly where i wanted i would recommend these scissors especially for those who are throwing away the appliqués the curved scissors, since it is a Mercedes/BMW/Lexus application scissors, I am now buying another 4″.

With a snapping motion, like a seam ripper. So I originally used an open ended one, thinking it would work like regular scissors. But they only work in the tip area where they are serrated I think.
