Not bad in an emergency, but there's a problem.

I bought these for an emergency and they are pretty good. The brightness isn't like a 60 watt bulb, more like a 45 watt bulb or a little less, which is normal for my purposes. I haven't had a chance to use them long enough to drain the battery, so I can't confirm how long they will stay bright. My big problem is that they work in the lamp while the power is on, but as soon as the power is turned off or the lamp goes out, they go out. They work great with the "finger method" or for hanging, but…

Pros
  • Easy Use
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

I was hoping to use these instead of my regular lightbulbs, but.

I was hoping to use them instead of regular lightbulbs but. I don't care about the color of the light. It's not a warm glow, more of a blue, faint light. Remember that during a power outage, any color of lighting will do. I bought 12 of these as we often get high winds with power outages. How long do they last on one charge? I have no idea - I think I'll find out. Don't put them in multiple lights (such as a dressing table), they are turned on by a switch, and when the switch is turned off…

Pros
  • Essential tool for survival
Cons
  • Very expensive

We had a series of strong earthquakes and several aftershocks in March, April and May! There were many days without light! It was terrible! I finally decided to order emergency light bulbs in case the power goes out again soon? They work just like regular lightbulbs, but don't need electricity! In addition, the wind is constantly blowing in our house, so the electricity is shut off several times a month! These lightbulbs are really great to have on hand! We had a series of strong earthquakes…

Pros
  • LED Daylight Bulbs
Cons
  • Crazy Price
