Review on Power outage solutions: Emergency πŸ’‘ Rechargeable Light Bulbs for Battery Failure by Danny Zapata

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not bad in an emergency, but there's a problem.

I bought these for an emergency and they are pretty good. The brightness isn't like a 60 watt bulb, more like a 45 watt bulb or a little less, which is normal for my purposes. I haven't had a chance to use them long enough to drain the battery, so I can't confirm how long they will stay bright. My big problem is that they work in the lamp while the power is on, but as soon as the power is turned off or the lamp goes out, they go out. They work great with the "finger method" or for hanging, but nothing I've tried lets them turn on when screwed into a lightbulb when the power is off. (Yes, I made sure the lamp was on.) If this issue could be resolved I would give them 4 stars. (I'd give them a 5 if they were as bright as advertised.)

Pros
  • Hands free kit
Cons
  • Very expensive
