Excellent must have tool

The 4 in 1 gas and water shut off tool is excellent. It's lightweight yet strong and works well with both water and gas valves. The tool is small enough to fit where larger tools cannot. I see this tool as a must have. You never know when you'll need to quickly disable a utility.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Available in white only

Good emergency tool for Hace Available

Great emergency tool. Ideal for gas valves. It's a good thing that it doesn't sparkle when running on gas. A water nut wrench is fine, but these valves in a small well can be difficult to turn easily. I would use a small metal rod as a switch to help leverage for this use. Prying and picking at the ends might seem useful, but opening a stuck door with the edge of a blade seems a little optimistic. For the price is fair.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • So far so good

Happy with Best in Survival Kits

I live in California. I bought this because the earthquake preparedness course suggests every home should have this or something similar. I'm grateful I didn't have to use it, I hope I never have to. But I was happy with the weight (not light, not heavy), it's easy for a woman to use. Well made, seems solid. I hope I never have to use it but I'm glad I made the purchase. Will recommend your product to other ladies I know.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Damaged

Works well in survival kits

Bought 4 of these - for home and for several family members. I've tried it on water and gas lines in two houses and it works great. My local fire department encourages you to keep such a tool near your gas meter and make sure your valve doesn't "get stuck". Note, however, that they also warn you not to turn off the gas all the way when attempting to use the tool or your indicator lights will go off. (If this happens, they say, call your gas company - most of them will light your pilots forโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Negative impression

I can't say I like it but I give it 5 stars because it's pretty well made but most importantly, at least in my opinion, and all the other manufacturers that do resell this similar product Revain, from what I have found they are all made in China and this one which is almost the same price as the Chinese made ones is made right here in the USA and that by itself. You should give yourself 5 stars. I bought this as an emergency gas shut off in case of an earthquake to keep next to a gas shut offโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
