I like the low ceiling design and the fan works well but the light was weak from day one and then suddenly got worse. When we attempted to replace the burned out bulb we found that none would screw in even though the manual said it was an E11 bulb. We tried 2 brands and thought it was something with threads. The design is good. Flush mount with low profile. Expensive ceiling fan and Emerson lamp. Terrible lamp. Very low power - 100 watts. Buying a more powerful lightbulb is not possible "because of the risk of fire".
