I think the product would be great for a lower power consumption fan

I use it as a speed controller for duct fans. The first 2 speeds don't even move the fan. I think the product will work great for a fan with less power consumption.

Pros
  • 4-position white finish fan controller switch (fan controller only)
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

For accessories rattles rattles

Difficult to slide up and down. It rings, rings, rings. The crate next to it says 'pretty slippery', but when it's described as 'quiet', the neighbors' kids whisper. It would be nice to use one hand, but this switch requires two. For something this expensive you would expect it to glide easily and be quiet.

Pros
  • Fan speed controller with decorative surround
Cons
  • Contact seller

Don't waste money!

DO NOT buy this switch! This is the second one that doesn't work for me. I was able to return the first one, but unfortunately this one was 30 days later. When the weather was finally warm enough to use it, I noticed that every time I flipped the switch on, the light in the closet flickered. This switch was set by a professional, so I know it's not user error. After paying a $139 service call and a new switch, I later discovered it was another bad switch. You are better off going to Home Depot…

Pros
  • Fan Speed Control Settings: (1) High, (2) Mid-High, (3) Mid-Low, (4) Low
Cons
