These 2 rugs are what you need. I needed two low rugs in my small house. I'm near the beach and there's always sand everywhere. They're both inside my front and back door. They don't "walk" but tend to move around a bit after pacing. I wish they were "stickier". But they are thin (which I needed) and otherwise everything is fine. I haven't washed them yet so I'm hoping the "stickiness" on the back doesn't wash off.

We use them outside and inside. They look and feel way more expensive than they are. I was concerned that they would be brittle and slippery for use on indoor tiled floors, but they are not. We've had them about a month now and they still look good despite my dog and I going in and out several times a day - no signs of wear or obvious soiling. I took them on purpose because they can be washed. We don't need it yet. Hope they hold up well after washing.

These indoor and outdoor rugs are really affordable. The size and mat pile was just what I needed for the rear doors (outside and in the garage). Use on parquet floors. The looped surface is very effective in removing fine sand and other debris from our shoes. This is VERY IMPORTANT to us as we have just finished paving two more areas of our home with quality travertine and are in the process of renovating and polishing the other rooms with travertine. which is very important to us. This is only my second review. I opened a package of 2 Emerson indoor and outdoor mats a few minutes ago so can't comment on durability. However I am VERY happy with the product as it looks well made with padded pile, finished edges and fitted with non-slip rubber. It is important to me that I can hose down the mats when they get dirty (they can also be machine washed). Of course, as you can see, my use of mats may be unique, but I've never seen my dogs take the ball so quickly and defensively.
