I bought this clamp to use as a shorter version of my 50" Tru-Grip clamp which is a similar design. Now I understand that the people who make Tru-Grip have gone out of business. the Tru-Grip was better than the Emerson C24 at my furniture store. The adjustable clamping surface, which runs the length of the clamp, tends to move along its guides with the SMALLEST contact when the tool is between the clamps, even when "locked" as instructed; It's a little annoying when you make multiple cuts of…

same size but different width than 50 "

I have got the 50" a while ago and love it. I wish the wider clip came with both, so I guess I'll have to buy them. That's the problem. I made some jigs using the 50 inch template as a template. I created the railings etc to fit and fit snugly on the rails. "Yesterday I thought they were both 2.5 inches wide. I was surprised that 24" is slightly wider than 50", so all my fixtures need to be upgraded to 24". I'm not happy about that at all. It really challenges a company that defines itself as a

As another reviewer said, it worked for a while. By that I mean just a few abbreviations. Then the clamp just slips. I have the longer one, 96 inches, and it still seems to be holding up.
