Perfect for the stovetop salt shaker! The opening is large enough for big hands, large capacity and no lumps of salt. parfait!

Nice and spacious (but not too big) salt container. It has a beautiful finish and color and goes perfectly with my stainless steel and black countertop.

LOVE this salty pig! Well made, nice weight and lifetime warranty. It looks like charcoal but is actually glossy black. I'm glad I bought it, although the price seemed a bit high to me. Should last a very long time.

I'm a chef and what I don't really want in a shaker is salt, at least while I'm cooking; For example, water for pasta, when it boils, add salt, which you simply take, and pour into boiling water. If you need a pinch, you can get it too. Especially since it is made in France.

I thought it would have a matte rough look but it isn't, it is definitely glazed ceramic and I would choose a different color if I understood that. It's GREAT though, I love it! Miraculously keeps the salt dry and I would recommend it to anyone, it's a bit pricey but I have no regrets.

But it capsized easily and died prematurely when my Kitchen Aid mixer vibrated too much, causing it to float over the edge of the countertop.
