Smooth Shifting with Reliable Shift Pattern

Based on our own experience, this shift pattern model is the best option for transmission and drive train replacements. It provides smooth shifting and dependable performance. The only drawback is the installation process, which may require professional assistance. Despite this, we highly recommend this product for anyone in need of a reliable shift pattern model.

Pros
  • Clear and easy-to-read shift pattern design
Cons
  • Shift pattern may confuse drivers not familiar with the Empi brand

Empi Shift Knob

This shift knob was for a refurbished VW Thing and it was perfect and exactly how I wanted it! I would recommend it to anyone with this kind of layering pattern.

Pros
  • Body
Cons
  • Folding Pack

Doesn't quite fit my EMPI switch

I had to grind down the metal tab on the bottom and re-thread the top to fit my EMPI switch. I'm not sure why it didn't just fit right, but whatever. I like this style more than the eight ball black button that came with the switch. I assume this was made as a replacement for the stock VW shift knobs.

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • Security
