Very simple body

I think it's a super flash drive. Turn it on, do your dirty work, and turn it off as soon as possible. There is simply no targeted heat dissipation. It's also so easy to open, I see it happen randomly, which of course isn't desirable. You can't deny the ease of installing the drive in this tool-less enclosure, but it's too easy. Just push a little and the inside pops right out. Nice all-purpose case, practical for quick and dirty, but not for professional everyday use.

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • There are some nuances

Good option for M.2 SATA SSDs

I had an old M.2 SATA SSD that I removed from my laptop. It was 180GB, which was too small for the main drive. I decided to buy this case to use as a USB drive. Installation took about a minute. Tools are not required. I plugged it in, formatted it, and that's how I got a 180GB USB drive. It's in a nice little form factor that's not much larger than the drive itself. There aren't any instructions other than what you see on the back of the box. My drive was the full length of the case, but if…

The basic SATA m.2 SSD enclosure works well but gets very hot.

This is a fairly basic M.2 SATA SSD enclosure that requires no tools. As you can see from the description, this only applies to SATA SSDs, not NVME. The case is made of metal, while the part that holds the SSD itself is made of plastic. There is a button you can press to pull out the inside to install or remove an SSD. The SSD is held in place with a plastic clip instead of a screw, and there are additional plastic clips that you can attach if your SSD is shorter than 80mm. There's an activity…

Get the job done! best under hard disk accessories

This does its job perfectly and takes an M.2 hard disk up to size 2280 with a B+M key. The case itself is an aluminum alloy case, but the plastic structure inside does not come into contact with the outer aluminum alloy case, so heat is not dissipated directly, but indirectly allows some heat transfer to the outside, thus helping to cool. It all depends on what kind of M.2 hard drive you end up using. Some of them generate too much heat and may not be suitable for this case and may burn inside.

Good housing for homeless M.2 drives

This small drive has a lot to offer. It's easy to set up and use, works with a variety of drives, is relatively fast, and gives my homeless M.2 drive a place to live. To install, all you have to do is remove the cover, insert the disc and snap it into place. under the plastic clip, slide the cover back and forth. After that, it behaves like a normal HDD/M.2/ssd. So the drive needs to be formatted when it's new, otherwise Windows won't see anything in File Explorer. But there are a few downsides

  • So far satisfied
