Maybe the shade is too big but it will grow in you in a week. They are not of the highest quality but I've already lost sight of a better pair. He's just started walking so time will tell if he lasts through summer. They are soft but not as soft as other children's shoes.

I've had bad experiences with this type of shoes from random manufacturers but this one has held up pretty well. My new baby walker wears it every day in kindergarten when playing outside and there is still a lot of life left in it. After a month of wear, the soles show only minimal signs of wear. Also, they smell cute!

These are great simple little shoes for me as a new walker. I like that all three straps are adjustable. The size is the expected size according to the size chart, but I wouldn't have bought this size if I hadn't looked at the measurements. My son is 12 months old. I bought size 6-12 months but now he wears size 2T for 24 months. So it was unexpected. But they fit perfectly. I will also order the next size up.
