Easy install, big improvement

Almost every Toyota SUV or truck I've owned has had shoddy steering gear bushings. I got some mud in my tundra and put it in last night. Takes less than an hour (use a suitable polymer bushing lubricant) and you will feel the difference immediately.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • empty

Easy install for shocks, struts and suspension

I installed them on my 2005 Tundra. The work took about 30 minutes, only 19 and 22mm heads are needed. Used a hammer and punch to remove the old ones. Make sure your front wheels are off the ground so the stabilizer bar doesn't get in the way and the wheels can spin, allowing the steering rack to disengage from the subframe. Easier to install than OEM style bushings.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • No power

Fits perfectly. good fit for performance parts and accessories

Perfect fit, just like any other suspension. A 2003 Sequoia with 197,000 miles on it cracked the factory bushings, possibly soft from leaking valve covers sending oil into them. Thanks to them, the steering wheel is like new. Go ahead and replace the stabilizer bushing, also you will need to loosen it to make room for the strut. Sequoia sr5 2003 2wd had a 28mm stem. The energy suspension socket is listed as not compatible but as you can see in the picture it fits.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Worked great for the wishbones and parts

I took my tundra for adjustment and the mechanic showed me how much play my steering rack had. No wonder I had trouble hiking. I immediately ordered this kit and it wasn't difficult to install myself. I did not remove the trunk from the car. I didn't want to take the lines off and mess around, so I removed the tie rod and steering shaft on the driver's side and pulled the steering rack out far enough to have room to knock out the old bushing and install it.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Only available in black

upset - the socket for the driver's socket bolt is too small

The socket for the socket on the driver's side was moved about 1 mm so as not to miss it. I had 2 days to fix a complete front suspension so I couldn't return it. Now I have 2 good urethane bushings and 1 regular rubber bushing like a caveman. Very disappointed. I love the energy suspension, I have many of their products on my truck and they are good quality. But all it takes is a bad product, next time I'll look elsewhere.

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • Reliability

Excellent quality at all no big difference

I bought this kit thinking it would tighten the steering and reduce play. It is very tight assembly wise and I would recommend a C clamp and ball joint press, without those two tools I would not have been able to complete the installation. My Sequoia has 243,000 miles and the OEM bushings were not easy to remove. . The driver side bushing was difficult to remove, I used a large pipe wrench and punch and it came out. With the middle sleeve, it was easy. All in all it took me about 6 hours to…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I'll write later
