I am very disappointed that it is so difficult to achieve a perfect match between these same brand panels, switches and sockets. In the end it looks like sloppy work. Otherwise they are fine.

They're so clean and smooth! In preparation for the sale, I'm replacing all the light switches and sockets, which will give my home a more sleek and modern look. I also bought new switches and sockets.

Simple but well done. However, be aware of the size of these covers, 4.5 x 4.5. They are a bit small for a box of 2. You're fine as long as your drywall and the paint on the outside of the electrical box look good. However, if you're replacing them in a house where the previous coating was painted by lazy painters, or the drywall around the box doesn't look as good, etc., but has some more to cover. 4.7 x 4.7 is easy to find and cheap and probably looks better.

After cracking some hard plastic decorative sheets from a big store. I decided to give them a chance. The plastic looks the same but is very durable. The big downside is that they are about 1/4 inch smaller on all outside edges. This means that if your house has been painted poorly, you will need to touch up the paint before applying it. I used a few out of the box and was frustrated. I went to a small chain store and found some flexible thermoplastic sheets sized to fit the double hole sheets.
