🔌 Enerlites Receptacle 61580 TR W: Powerful Residential and Commercial Outlet Solution Review

I've only installed one so far and am planning to replace a couple of outlets that someone pointed out. So far, so good. This is clearly stated and pictured but I would like to see the front is stamped 'tamper evident', not a manufacturer's fault, I didn't see that, just a note.

Only a few sockets replaced by Enerlite. Poor electrical outlets were delivered to our home by substandard contractors. My wife is so glad we didn't weld plugs to the outlet and the plugs don't fall out when vacuuming, I plan to replace all my outlets with Enerlites.

Installs alone and will not ground to metal case as described. must be used to ground an outlet.: I'm not new to this setup and I wish they grounded themselves as described. Remember that the electronic probe for verification will not work when you use it because the child lock is in place to prevent children from putting things into it. I don't recommend them

I installed most of these with just nuts and they looked fine. I recently had to replace an outlet and required push wires due to limited wall/box space. Three separate outlets (all from this order) caused wiring problems (open neutral, reverse ground/hot, etc.) on other outlets downstream. It turned out that the bottom hot plug of EACH socket was broken. Everyone. Swapping them on the push connector with the top pins got my voltage and circuitry working again. I was hoping that these tamper evident plugs would "just work" and by that I mean that standard plugs are easy to plug in without the hassle of plastic latches and plugging them in to prevent doing it. That being said, these plugs aren't bad and they're better than the ones I've used in the past, but maybe tamper resistance is something electrical engineering is currently not good at?

Great deal, too good to be true. I was very happy to receive 10 replacement sockets for only $1 each. The installation went super smoothly. They even have quick release buckles on the back making them easy to install. The problem I had was that I was trying to seamlessly connect anything with 3 pins. If you're using them for a simple two-pronged connector, they're great. They snap into place and hold the connector in place. If you're trying to connect a 3-pin (connector to ground) device, it's…
