They are great, easy to install and good looking. However! Matte gold and gold are different. I didn't get it and I think I'll roll with it unless someone mentions but if I get different sizes. Check twice. Also the plug was GFCI or something and obviously in gold they want a lot more for these so a plug doesn't fit.

Wall Plate matches white Decora switches and sockets better than Leviton, but the thickness means the switch is recessed rather than flush and nothing can be done about it. Like all Decora materials, they adhere better to walls or panels than uneven plaster. The slots for wedging the top plate seem absolutely necessary to me, although I don't think they had to be slotted from the top.

They are suitable for Regular Sites but not if you are detail sensitive and will be installing with Lutron switches and want them to look premium. If it's a highly visible area, you'll notice that the white isn't as white as Lutron's dimmers and the bezel mounting tabs are visible. Lutron OEM plates have no visible protrusions and the white color matches them perfectly. The plus points: They fit well, are inexpensive and suitable for everyday use.

The only thing I don't like is that you have two visible clips at the top (also two at the bottom). but if I pay half price, like those at low prices - give up on me. I bought Ankuoo Rec smart switches for a 2 gang box and needed new plates. I received them and at first thought I would have to remove the screws on the existing switches and screw them in through the large holes. I decided to see if they would align if I just decided to screw them to the switch and they matched perfectly. The small screws held the plate in place and I love the new sleek modern look.

Compared to Lutron and other brands they are pretty cheap and unlike other budget brands they look great once installed. However, and this is my only gripe, as others have pointed out, both the top and bottom have these notches that you can see by looking at them. Overall I would buy them again if I needed a cheaper alternative. However, given the choice between Lutron Caseta switches and these, I would go with Lutron.
