K&N Engine Air Filter: High Performance Replacement for 2017-2019 Hyundai/Kia L3/L4 Models, Washable & Premium Filter (Elanta, i30, Kona, Veloster, Cee d, Forte), 33-5050 Review

I read about it. Not sure why it passes quality control. I was able to remove a few shards, but one stuck too far. I usually buy K&N filters for all my cars, they are easy to install/clean. One star deducted because of the shards. If I find anything else I don't like, I'll definitely update it.

I did an unannounced filter test. Here are the dates: Hyundai Elantra 2.0 2018. I drove from ELP to San Antonio 1350 miles round trip. With the stock filter / before the K&N filter was installed, I averaged 37.1mpg. After installing I get 41.3. It was on the highway up to 80 km/h and in the city including hilly driving on the highway. Get 4.2mpg. Old MPG I'd spend 109.16 at K&N, spend about $98, averaging about $3.00 a gallon. Or saved about $11. Redeems itself.

I recently checked my car's fuel economy per gallon during a 10 hour trip to another state. I reset the consumption at startup. All divided highway. If anyone has a 2021 Forte GT this 33-5050 will fit. and turbo sound (for turbocharged cars), generally with a louder rumble. If HP is gained, then no more than 6-8 ponies. So why not. It's also nice to know that you don't have to worry about shifting for long, just keep an eye on it occasionally. In the end, driving style, road, city/traffic, etc. count.

Great Air Filter for Hyundai Elantra Sport Sedan 2017+ and Hyundai Elantra GT Sport Hatchback 2018+. I like the fact that I can hear a little more how the turbine works. Wow. It's worth it. My 2017 HYUNDAI Elantra works great now. I only use 97 octane (high octane really helps). The owner's manual recommends using injector cleaner regularly, which I do. I used to have K&N filters on my full size pickups and found them really great. Just installed on my 2018 Hyundai Elantra Value Package.
