Mandatory for size 18 beads.

I'm doing a project with size 18 and 15 beads and they work great. They break if you bend them too aggressively, which I did, but that's why I took a pack of 25 because I've used them before and I know I need a light touch when bending. But otherwise they are great. They don't fit my size 20 beads, but nothing fits.

Pros
  • MADE IN ENGLAND: The John James Needles name is well known for quality and reliability among needle makers the world over.
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Works well

These needles are long enough to hold many beads. The eyelet is small, which makes threading it a bit difficult, but it also goes well through small beads. I used number 8 beads, there was enough space. The needle is also slightly flexible, which is useful when weaving round shapes. One note: I had no idea I was getting so many needles - I thought it was only one pack but I got a small box!

Pros
  • BEADWORK: These needles are great for loom or off-loom sewing such as peyote, brick, herringbone and mesh.
Cons
  • Something else

great for a variety of stitches and beading

I tried using beading needles #10, #13 and #15. Size 15 was too heavy to thread (the first one broke). Size 13 was ok but I wanted to see if I could do with something bigger. Size 10 was strong and easy to thread, but too big for some of my small beads. So I bought her. I am very happy with them and will use them often. I mostly use 4 lb test firelines with them. I don't find it too difficult, but I have a backlit magnifying glass that helps. Lately I haven't had very small pearls, mostly just…

Pros
  • THREADING: A stiff needle is very fine, long and straight, with long eyelets that hold thread in place as you work.
Cons
  • Long delivery time
