Excellent magnetic mount

Works great no problems using it as a mount for my iPhone 12 Pro Max. The magnet holds well and works great with the addition of my popsocket. Doesn't slip and feels very durable, the aluminum also makes this product very high quality. I bought my wife another iPhone.

This little gadget is the coolest accessory I've found for my new iPhone.

I was looking for some kind of magnetic pen or ring to use with my iPhone 12 Pro Max's MagSafe. I stumbled across this and decided to try it in combination with the standard phone ring holder I have at Revain have found. As you can see in the video, the adhesive carrier ring fits this magnetic plate perfectly and easily supports the weight of my massive iPhone 12 Pro Max housed in a MagSafe-certified TPU case. Makes using my phone much more convenient. Easy to turn on and off when I want toโ€ฆ

Works without a case!

Works well without case. On a case, particularly one like mine, that doesn't have MagSafe on the back, you'll need magnetic rings like mine. Very strong magnet but requires direct metal contact or a MagSafe ring on the back of the phone to stay in place. The last thing you want to do is have PopSockets on that platter and the platter doesn't have a good grip on your phone. It would be great if the plate was maybe 30% thinner. It seems to stick out too high, but that may be because my case onlyโ€ฆ

Overpriced but works well, especially with a magesafe case or a sticker for your case

To be honest I think it cost too much. $15 is a lot for this but it works fine, it worked, my Walmart waterproof glove box held up but was pretty flimsy. So if you have a Magsafe case, you're fine. Otherwise, if you have an Otterbox or thicker case, you'll have to do what I did and get a magesafe sticker/magnet to stick it in your case to keep it in place. After I applied this sticker it held tight and was a bit difficult to remove which is good. I don't have to worry about it falling lol so it
