Extremely attractive and durable stones. That's what she said. Seriously, they arrived in a nice black bag with a cute booklet that REALLY TRYES to teach you the meaning of the runes. Unfortunately the English is very bad. And I wouldn't use the pamphlet as a guide to rune meaning. If you want an attractive, well-made set of Norse runes, then go for this. Buy it. No questions. I love lapis lazuli and was looking forward to a good set of runes. Unfortunately I don't like them as much as I had hoped. They are so different (!) in size and shape (see photos I took). I didn't expect them to be in perfect shape; organic variations are important to the natural beauty of the stones. But some of them are half the size of others! And WHY engrave the rune on the narrow side of the stone and not the wide one?! It makes no sense. The velvet pouch is really useless, it's too small

These are my first runes and I love them! I got them because of the value of the lapis lazuli stone and because I like the color. They differ slightly from the picture (a google search for lapis lazuli gave an accurate description of the colour) but still excellent quality. Fairly even rectangular rune stones, grade B and C lapis lazuli, feel comfortable to hold, not so deep cut that you can tell which is which and very well thought out these stones really great. The box is made of very durable cardboard, the velvet pouch is also of high quality. The symbols are easy to read and since the engraving is not too deep, this eliminates haptic memory and monotony.
