I bought this rod for my 74” living room window, and they are lovely. I had waited for the Renaissance gold to come back into stock and it was worth it; additionally, the seller seems to have taken some customer advice, because the finials came packed in styrofoam and neither were broken. The way that the rods are secured into place made it a little difficult to put the fixtures into the wall, but they’re plenty sturdy. The first order was missing the bird end pieces. I submitted a return request and received the replacement within 2 days which was very timely, however, the replacement order was then missing the mounting hardware. So between the two shipments I have a complete curtain rod set with only a rod to return. The bird end pieces are very sturdy and look as pictured but turn upside down due to weight. Will have to try to reclamp to maintain a right-side-up display.

As others have pointed out the birds often arrive broken - that was the case with mine too. Whatever, glued them back together, spray painted them flat black (which was always my intention) and put them up. I like them a lot. They look great holding up the curtain over a closet. I had tried a thick spring rod to hold this curtain up but the curtain is just too heavy, and it kept pulling the rod down. This is sturdy.

Glued it back together. Doesn't look as nice. Opted to not return because I had already put the hooks up. Not easy to install. The screws it came with are smooth towards the base of the screw offer zero support. You must use the wall anchors, the holes to support this hook are very close together. Half my wall anchors fell through their holes and I had to use different hardware. Frustrating experience and ended up with lack luster decor

So I was very nervous ordering this product hearing how reviews had broken bird tails because I needed 4 rods. Meaning any one of the 8 birds that could potentially arrive broken. I was thrilled to see they were all VERY well packaged and none of them were damaged. The rods are as sturdy as you'd expect from a mid range curtain rod. Love these. Over all the design is beautiful. Only issue is the screws included with the product to not fit. After inserting the drywall screw and the screws provided the tie back moves up and down.

I bought four of these. They look great, but one of the birds arrived with the tail feathers broken off. I had already installed the rod before opening the birds to screw onto the ends. Disappointed to find one broken, but not worth taking down whole thing to return.

This rod and finials are perfect. Just gorgeous.I’m so sad that my renaissance gold finials broke very easily. The tails snapped off both birds. I would love to have new ones because I adore them.

Well packaged. I ordered four. All were great but one had two different sized brackets. Ugh. Have to take time to send back for a replacement

The pullbacks really go nicely with my black and silver tree pattern curtains. And despite my hesitation to order with all the negative comments. the birds were in perfect shape, just as the pictures and descriptions. And they arrived ahead of schedule. Yes, I would recommend.

I ordered the white one, it was perfect! Not broken. As soon as I got my power drill charged installing was easy! The gold finials may be too shiny and reflective!

These arrived intact with no broken birds. One thing folks complained about--the birds not threading properly to line up horizontally--is easy to fix. Since there are two pipes, you can thread the birds on the ends, then twist the pipes (not the birds) until the birds are lined up. Simple.

These are sturdy and pretty items curtain tie back rods. However, having ordered 5 pairs, one bird’s tail was broken off in four of the packages. I needed to hang them right away, so I just did some home repair with glue. I was really disgusted having to do that, but I did need them right away. Maybe they’ll hold.
