I placed them on a 2 x 4 foot MDF board with 2 x 4 rails for support. The wheels turn well, the lock works. I placed the locked wheels on opposite corners. I have a cart that won't go straight, the other 8 sets work fine.

High Quality Product. I attached these casters to a 6 foot double deck wooden garden cart that I built myself. Note: the included mounting screws didn't work for my purpose; I bought 16 stainless steel screws to attach the casters to the garden cart. I liked the castors so much that I immediately bought another set for the next garden trolley that is under construction.

I bought this set of wheels to modify my old handyman tool box that was becoming too heavy with the tools to move easily. The wheels are strong, roll smoothly, lock in place and are easy to assemble. Simply place on 2 3/4 inch thick plywood shelves, 2x4 foot utility cart for use in the garage for storage and as a cart when needed. These wheels are very easy to turn and roll on the cement floor.
