When I tried this accessory, I was thoroughly unimpressed. The sound quality was poor, and the volume was inconsistent. Even worse, the installation was difficult and time-consuming.

Didn't do my car any good. No instructions included, can't find it online. Why is there a red wire at the end of the antenna? Really stupid design, whatever one may say.

I live in a valley in an area with poor reception. With this antenna I have no reception at all. I can receive at least one station without an antenna connected. The antenna comes with no instructions so it took about an hour of surfing the web to find help. I drove to a place where I had excellent reception and couldn't have any of the stations autotuned and when I tuned in manually they couldn't be heard.
