I love this bench! However, assembly was a bit difficult. The shelves have a front and back but they are NOT marked which means that if the doors were together they wouldn't close completely. I took off the end, turned the shelves over and tada, the doors closed. He's a lot stronger than I thought and he's so attractive. love love love!

This product is very well made and well packaged. The instructions were very good except they didn't explain a shelf left or right and if you pick the wrong one you have to disassemble and reassemble the doors to close them. Also, the company logo should be on the side, not the front. Besides, I love it. Perfect, well designed, my shoes fit and hold me well. Great bench for shoes.

Sometimes you really win when you buy, and that was in my case with the K Kelbel bamboo shelf and shoe bench. I use it for shoes and umbrellas but I also store items for my Border Collie such as leashes, frisbees, dog bags etc. I have found that placing a basket of multiple items in a high room makes the most of the space. The bench is comfortable as well as handy and useful. The instructions were well explained; My older sister actually assembled it without outside help.

The bottom two shelves (D and E) have been mislabeled and the holes are completely different. After struggling with installing it on the wrong shelf, I figured out what was wrong and then everything went fine. I used an open dresser drawer to support the first few inserts.
