I bought this case a year ago and yes it did the job of keeping dirt and debris off my keyboard. Unfortunately, the letters I use the most are starting to fade and disappear like ghosts of the alphabet. While I'll admit I spend a lot of time typing on the keyboard, other cases I've used haven't had this issue.

After a few years ago I ruined two Apple keyboards by wiping with a chlorox cloth (some liquid got in and that was the end of both keyboards, had to buy 2 new ones). ), I bought these silicone keyboard cases and I really like them. They're durable and you don't lose the "touch" of a heavier keyboard cover and I can clean them! I bought a new Imac and it was the first accessory I bought.

I bought a total of 3 covers for different keyboards and they have all held up great. Water was spilled on one of them, which completely saved our keyboard from damage, which, as you know, is expensive or not. Used daily and works great! The colors are bright and beautiful and none have faded since we bought them. I would buy them again if they ever go bad!

This is a great and very cheap accessory for your Magicc Mac keyboard, not only to improve visibility but of course also to protect against spills etc. It also has a very good keyboard feel and response. Since this Magic Mac keyboard doesn't have a backlight (except for the Caps Lock key), it's also useful to have a good booklight clip (like the Glocusent) that's powered by the Mac. I find this black and white version has the best visibility/clarity.

I just wanted the case to fit perfectly to keep things off the keyboard, but not only does it fit perfectly, it also makes keystrokes sound a lot quieter! I would say it reduced the clicking noise by 80%! Did it affect typing? Well, I've only been typing on this for a few hours, but I've only noticed my finger getting caught on the edges of the keys a bit. Little problem. Not big enough to affect my rating. Such a great investment. I also like the minimal packaging.
