Works well as an umbrella stand/holder in the backyard. The two prongs makes it more sturdy and balanced that the single-pronged one I had before. Easy to get into the ground. The tightening screw may not last too long. But this is so much better than one of the more traditional umbrella stands that take up lots of room and are hard to move.

AMAZING! purchased to use in my backyard to hold a beach umbrella besides my inflatable adult pool. It was amazing and bigger/sturdier than I expected which was a pleasant surprise. Went through soil and grass and held the umbrella like a champ! It also Came out without a problem, got a rinse and was good to go again. This stand is awesome! Works great in grass and soil. Not sure yet about how it will work in sand. If your umbrella rod doesn’t fit in the hole of this stand, there’s a small plastic part at the end of the stand you can take out, and then it should fit. I highly recommend this!

The weld broke within a couple of uses return window closed by the time i had gotten to use it so i couldn't return. Thanks for attention.

It doesn't fit my umbrella, unfortunately. I have a pretty basic/common umbrella too so I'm surprised. I got it to use in my backyard and at the beach but will have to return a try a different kind due to the sizing issue.

i tried pouring concrete in a hole but didn't work. I found this item. with a heavy hammer, you just pound it into the ground where there is a hard dirt base, slide in the umbrella and it withstands wind. Love this item. When it rains and ground gets moist, i just move it a few inches to a more solid base and it's perfect!

The stakes should be longer. a normally 7ft umbrella is in my opinion to big. might work great for a small beach umbrella. now if stakes were longer {maybe 4-6 inches} i think would be a great product.

Purchased this for my 9ft patio umbrella that's installed through our picnic table. This works great, very sturdy and penetrated the lawn with ease thanks to its sturdy spikes. This is way better than a large heavy base which would kill the lawn. With this steel anchor, I can move the picnic table to different areas and leave no damage behind.

Originally purchased (2) out of frustration of my lovely beach umbrella constantly being pulled out of the sand during a mild to strong wind at the beach. I've used those "twist turn" beach stakes and they too are NOT reliable against wind. The sand anchor arrived just in time for an outdoor picnic at a local park and had a very successful test run. I was looking all over for a flag stand that I could place in the ground to hold a school flag that I wanted to display. This is perfect for what I needed. It was easy to place in the ground and is very stable even when the wind is strong. THe holder is deep enough to support the flag but not so deep to cause the flag to drape on the ground. A very good buy!

Almost perfect if it was about a 1/4" bigger. I have a standard 7' outdoor umbrella and the pole was just a tad bigger than the opening.

I really thought this would work nicely. Today used it and a wind came up (not too strong of one) and it bent the longest prong back and my beach umbrella fell over at the park. It’s ruined now and metal is compromised. I’m sad because I thought it looked sturdy. Apparently I was wrong. 😔 other reviews said it was so that’s why I bought it.

This is a great alternative to an umbrella stand for outdoor seating area in the grass. I've purchased two of these for that purpose and the umbrellas are stable. These also didn't affect the growth of grass and didn't create an obstacle for moving or mowing.

Worked great until the weld snapped. Not even sure when it happened. I went to remove the umbrella and then the stake from the ground and discovered it had come apart.UPDATE: even though I purchased these a year ago I sent a note to the maker and they promptly replied with an offer to replace the one that broke. Thus I’ve upgraded my rating based on their customer support.

It stays put even in strong winds. Solid and sturdy. I have a heavy umbrella, but it holds it stably in place. Highly recommended.

These are fabulous. they go deep, can be moved around, need occasional propping as I use them for all-summer birdhouse poles. I am sure they would do very well as umbrella stakes too.

I can’t believe this spike is so easy to us. It’s light weight but heavy. I use in my lawn by the pool so far it kept the umbrella still. Unlike the round mental base that leave a circle of dead grass this small spike leave a hole and you can barely see it and after a rain storm the hole gone, and grad covers it up. No issue get it if you are wondering.

Very easy setup, just use a mallet and wooden block to pound into ground. Not as sturdy as other umbrella stands that have 3-4 legs, therefore, my umbrella tends to lean and not stand upright. Would purchase again unless the 3-4 legged ones become available.

At last, just what I need. I am an artist who needs a reliable umbrella when painting on location. Other umbrellas fail either because attached to the easel and wind blows everything over or the ground is too hard to screw in the umbrella. This is pretty secure and with its bayonet stake can be put in the ground using my foot. It could use a larger holder but so far I am happy with it.
