Epson Workforce WF 2850 Wireless Printer Review

This is not a new printer. I think this is the item being returned by another buyer, repackaged and sold to the next buyer without repair. I just gave it to my colleague last week and each time I addressed the paper jam issue.

Don't buy this printer by eye and ear here. They pay over $120 for a printer that doesn't work, and then they want to keep $115 for themselves to "fill up". They are scammers! I will contact Amazon.

Printer arrived 2 days ahead of schedule. Well! Asked online for help with setup and found all support for Epson 2850 has been removed. Poorly. The supplied instruction manual and installation guide were totally inadequate. Poorly. Epson is lucky that the YouTuber fills this glaring gap.

Was a loyal Epson fan but no more. This device does not stay online for more than a few minutes. Connection to the WLAN remained ok, but disconnected and no longer responded to attempts to print and access the administrator network. Wouldn't take long enough to complete the install script (kinda stupid btw) so I had to reset the WiFi connection after each stage. Trying to set up the printer. The test paper is jammed and the home or & icon does not appear on the printer screen. Disconnected and rebooted but it didn't help. Although the printer works perfectly, I just received it so the few pages I printed were great. However, please note that this printer does NOT include a USB cable and must be purchased separately. I specifically wanted a wired option instead of Wi-Fi or an internet connection so that the printer doesn't store information and report back to the homebase about ink levels, cartridges in the device, subscribing to automatic services, storing images in the "cloud", etc. Also note that the ink…
