Jeep fuel gauge is the best in sensors

This fuel gauge was what I needed to fix a Jeep factory gauge that wasn't working. If you have trouble with a factory sensor, buy this one. The price was right and at a good price! I installed this in my 1977 cj5 jeep. .Thank you for reading.

I have no hesitation in recommending

This is not a pressure gauge; I don't know why it is described that way. I checked the model number against the Equus website to find the correct fuel level sensor for my application. This was a direct replacement for a failed Smiths unit in my 1977 MG Midget and is absolutely accurate. But I can't give five stars. It responds to inputs from the transmitter so instantaneously that the needle jumps back and forth on winding roads with less than a full tank. However, considering the price and the

Easy installation and seems to work fine on my 1977 Jeep CJ5. I have to wait until I've used up part of my full tank to check accuracy. UPDATE #2: I started with a full tank and used 7 gallons. The sensor never moved. I read the data sheet that came with the meter and found that AMC applications require a reading of 33 ohms full and 240 ohms empty. That's a far cry from factory specs for an AMC Jeep. I referenced the factory manual which says 10 ohms full, 23 ohms half and 73 ohms empty. This…
