This transmitter unit is much better than the one that came with the sensor. Screw connection instead of electrical plug connection.

They are pretty easy to break, this one replaced that. I put it on a water cooled motorcycle in an adapter I made, a 1/8" tee, and put it in the water hose. It was too long to enter the standard hole. I couldn't find it here.

Meter Equis claims that the meter comes with a transmitter which is not the case! Then you buy this junk and it doesn't work. Very frustrating. Just buy quality parts to get started!

Good sender, good price, but an embarrassing mistake. I bought 6 in total. The trunk moves a little or a lot. I had an ohmmeter connected and the movement did NOT change the resistance of my devices. Be careful when tightening the nuts. May not be fully waterproof and will corrode over time. I want Equus to fix this bug. Your counters are very good for the price.

Unfortunately this is not the part I wanted although there was a photo of the part I needed. There was no return label on the package and it would have cost $9 more to ship back than it obviously cost. Sorry, but I also understand that sometimes during data entry a part is assigned a different number and these things happen. I'm trying to work with a company that makes sensors to have the correct sensor shipped to me.

I bought an aftermarket water temp sensor kit and screwed up the transmitter. I found this on Amazon after getting the part number on the Equus website. They wanted to charge $14.95 for shipping and handling. The product in the photo is wrong. It actually has a threaded end where you use a nut to tighten the connector tip. The end that screws into the motor is the right size. I actually preferred this as the latch on the type loosens causing erroneous temp readings.

Gauge Equis claims that the gauge comes with a transmitter but that is not the case! Then you buy this junk and it doesn't work. Very frustrating. Just buy quality parts to get started!
