They are very durable. I've been using one of these since I've had them and the stretch is still very tight. The ones I bought from Boxy about 100 years ago didn't last as long, but they weren't metal. I'm not sure if that matters or if it's because they aren't real. I also doubt the authenticity as I did not receive it wrapped around a piece of plastic as shown in the picture. Boxy's came in a plastic bag. Elastics are perfect for my hair. They stretch well and last a long time. I've only used one since I bought it 4 months ago.

I have very fine hair. I usually snap my hair ties or they aren't thick enough to hold my hair in place. You are perfect! They are durable, stay in place and I can wear them on my wrist without cutting off circulation. Now I only buy them!
