I weigh myself every day for health reasons. I wanted to try this because the one I have doesn't make a single tenth. It only works with even numbers (123.4, 124.6, etc.). This new scale did the same thing, so I wasn't getting any precision, and what I gained in width was lost in length. I need to track my Beagle's weight every 2 weeks to make sure the diet is working. My dog sits on this scale and we can determine his weight instead of putting him on our lap and weighing him by the difference between our weight and the weight when he is on his lap. Most of the others were either for very small dogs or very expensive for almost professional scales. He needs to lose another 7 pounds.

This scale has worked flawlessly since it arrived every morning. Til today. This morning he started returning odd weights between 325 and 335 pounds. A 240-pound adult weighed 328 pounds. 100 pounds couldn't even get the scale to register him standing on it. That was all AFTER the new batteries were installed. Consumer reviews strongly recommend this scale, but I'll let you know about my experience as well. I assume the scales are strong enough to last 7+ weeks.
