The power is off and this thing came in handy. It does have a solar charger and handle, but I suggest charging it with the included USB cable. The solar charger works, it only takes a little time to charge. And the handle works too, it just needs a bit of work. It charged my phone for a while, but not for long. Good for enough charge for a quick call but not for a long charge.

The first unit I received was a lemon but the seller went out of their way to fix it. The replacement I received works very well. I can pick up the weather band, the sound quality is good, the grip really works and so does the phone charger. I can't confirm longevity yet, but I hope it continues! Glad to have this handy device in case of a weather emergency or power outage.

A great gadget in the event of a power failure or for the car. The tuning knob on mine is hard to use, but it works if you stick with it. Everything else works as far as I can tell. I turn it on and use it for at least a few minutes every month to get things moving. (whether it helps or not, dunno) I've also found it handy when walking my dog in the evenings, which is more economical with a flashlight and music than using the phone when it falls.

This little radio is AMAZING, we used it when the power went out during Hurricane Irma. We charged it before the hurricane and it took 2 full days to charge without having to hand crank it. The light is super bright, the volume is very loud. I can't believe that such a small device can have so much power.
