This is our second purchase, the first lasted two years and is still lasting. It was glued on with a lock and my husband only has trouble sticking it on when the temperature gets in the 20s mark otherwise he loves it as a truck driver. He had MANY, this one is the best!

First I tried to attach it to the dashboard, it didn't stick because the surface is textured. Then I attached it to the windshield. Holds up well. The hinges are adjustable by snaps and cannot be tightened. There is some free play. I've been using it for two days now and it doesn't wobble like I thought it would. So far, so good.

I use this product to mount my tablet on the dashboard to use as a dash cam. The suction cup has adhesive so it hasn't come off my windshield since I installed it three weeks ago. The hand does a really good job of locking it in place. I left the bottom part resting on the dashboard so it doesn't wobble with the car. The rubber on the inside of the clamps is also very good. My last tablet holder only had foam glued to the inside of the clips. I like how this one is set up a lot more. 10/10…

I don't know how these reviewers say it's "safe" or "secure" or "holds the phone or tablet securely in place". This might be fine for a phone with a butt mount, but it's NOT safe for a tablet. My Galaxy Tab E wobbles and won't snap into place. In addition, there are two adjustments via buttons. That means you can't pull them down. Therefore, this mount will bounce every time you hit a bump or drive on a rough road. Watch the video to see for yourself. Not very secure, but also cheaper than most

The sticky suction cup works very well even on uneven surfaces. Inside the case is a spring that vibrates loudly when there's no phone in the cradle, which is loud enough to be heard over music and quite annoying. The noise problem wouldn't be as big if you could easily remove the holder when not in use, but over time removing and reinstalling the holder will likely reduce the holding power of the sticky suction cup. EDIT/Foreword: When I wrote the first review or bought the second iteration of the product, I didn't realize it was advertised with a lifetime warranty. I called the manufacturer (this seems like a minor operation as they asked me to send a photo of the item to my mobile phone) and they say they will replace both items. I'll update this if they can't handle it. SECOND CHANGE. They only replaced one of the two I bought and now the third is broken. This one lasted about 5 months, probably because
