At first I thought something was wrong with the wheels, but if you turn them a little and apply direct direct pressure (I had a chair on the side ) you can hear and feel them snap into place. I have no problems. and it's comfortable and cute.

Got my chair today. I bought a chair for my workshop/sewing shop. It was easy to assemble. It looks good for the price. It's small as other reviewers claim. Suitable for a teenager or a petite person. I'm 5'6 and 145 lbs. Fits me a little tight. The seat is short. If you have long legs this won't work for you. The wheels run great on hardwood floors. The soldering of the base is sloppy. I gave him three stars. Because the dimensions given are incorrect.

So, a few things. Arrived much quicker than expected; However, the packaging was a complete mess - everything broken, and the box was open and gaping. Luckily, all the parts somehow stayed in it. The chair was very easy to assemble. And although I've only been using it for a few days, it's definitely more comfortable than my dining chair and looks beautiful. The wheels, as mentioned, are very stiff and don't roll smoothly. I'll just change the wheels I think, but there's something to consider.

I bought this for my school age daughter to use during home schooling. It looks very classy and suits her very well. My husband and I fit in one chair, but it's best for children/teens or petite adults. This chair is not suitable for a person weighing over 175 pounds. or it is over 5 feet 6 inches. This is a small chair no matter how you cut it. I'm 5ft 9in, no 175 and it's snug. Like a bear hug. The arms and back are about what you'd expect, albeit smaller, and the seat is firm. The casters don't snap, they simply rest on the underside of the legs and are held in place by gravity. So when you pick it up you'll need to reattach and position the drop wheels. Desk chairs can be sooo expensive and ugly so I was very lucky to find this inexpensive cute chair for my home office.
