This hammer is a bit odd, doesn't look like it's worth the money. The handle is thicker than comfortable, and there's a piece of untreated wood under the hammer head as a disturbing sign of manufacturer's carelessness. The blow hits well, doesn't bounce, but I'll find another better hammer.

I don't like writing bad reviews, but this one was pretty obvious. I've been very careful to only use this hammer on real estate signs. Also, I'm not a brute or a UFC fighter, and I probably don't have the clout to break a tool as tough as this. This happened within a month of purchase after using it on five or six signs. Maybe I just caught a few rotten eggs.

I had a cheap rubber mallet before it was stolen. The thief did me a favor. This hammer is amazing. Unlike a cheap hammer, this one delivers a killing blow and doesn't recoil. The USA made it so my purchase made another American job. Great products and American money go to American workers. Sounds like a winner to me.

Made in the USA - Exactly what I wanted. When I received this hammer earlier than expected, I found it very comfortable to hold, even with my small, feminine hands. Love it. You can take it further by the handle or at the end for big hands. Very durable and not too heavy. I love this hammer. I'll be using it primarily to seal food bucket lids so I don't crack them.
