This is very good for mechanical and hand tools

That's pretty good. I bought this as a replacement/additional nail puller for my decking work. I wish it had a more square "point of impact" at the end of the tapered claw. If I hadn't had another brand that I've used before, I'm not sure I would have missed this hit point. In general, a lot of work has been done and it's still going strong.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Some errors

Good product! fits power tools and hand tools

We removed the siding from a very old house and found that 5 inch nails held everything in place. They were so packed that there was nothing we could do to get them out. I checked Google and found this tool, it works AMAZING. To be honest I wish we had bought this sooner, it took minutes to get the nails out not the hours we spent the day before.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Easy, durable and inexpensive way to drive nails

After a failed fence installation I needed a way to remove the nails from the picket fence without destroying the wood. The Estwing Nail Puller is lightweight, very strong and comes with two different heads for different nail placements. I was able to gently lift the nail with the flat head and then gently pull it out of the stake with the curved head without damaging the wood.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some problems

Nice tool, solid and the shape does the job well.

I've always used a large pry bar or claw hammer for these types of jobs, but having a smaller pry bar is really nice. The small size and lighter weight really helps after a few hours of working with the tool. If you need a big tool, get a bigger one, but for everyday use on small nails, it gets the job done faster and with less hassle. It won't replace larger tools, but where it can be used it saves a lot of effort.

Pros
  • Mason's hammers
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Well designed and made nail puller

I'm working on a big home renovation project and need to remove a lot of head nails buried in the wood. This nail puller exceeded all my expectations. When the nail head is flush with or below the wood surface, I can drive each end of the sharpened tip of the puller into the wood to avoid the nail, grab the nail head, and pull the nail out. If the nail is less than 5 cm long, I can pull out the whole nail. Otherwise the head of the nail is high enough above the board that I can hook it with a…

Pros
  • Hand tool
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Ordered one but the curved end was ground unevenly so one side was about 3/16 inch longer than the other. I knew immediately it wasn't going to work. The straight end has been sanded to perfection. He was handsome and sharp. Gave it back for another. The second was just sanded. The straight ending was perfect. The curved end has been ground straight but not sharp. It had very blunt corners so you have to dig really deep into the wood to get under a nail. I have to sharpen it myself…

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
