I've been looking for the original connector for too long. I chose this set. Although the wire screen was chunky, it worked. A few pre-cut solder tails would be nice, but hey, "that's it".

I was hoping the wires were at least 6 inches long they are about 2 inches - very difficult to use without more wire attached to the wire to splice item. It would be much better if you just assemble the connector from another kit.

Very poor quality. Cables fell off 3 out of 5 connectors. I gave the seller a chance to make it right but they couldn't seem to find the car and took me to Revain. If it was a reference to themselves and the rest of their products, I wouldn't even bother.

I used these on my sailboat to connect the wiring from my mast to the wiring in the boat. I've tried using "marine" fittings in the past, but salt water always seeps through and corrodes the fitting. That is amazing! Maybe a bit ugly, but they stay tight and salt water doesn't corrode the connectors. Dude, I'm glad I solved this problem.

They are small, less than 1 inch wide and about 1 1/2 long, which is just right for my needs. The wires are short, they are about 4 inches long. Better at least 6 inches and pre-polished, but these will work. Make sure to use "shrink spaghetti" :-) - 1/8" tubing works well. Can't be taken apart without ruining things, and you'll have to solder wires if you don't have pins. which most of we don't have on hand because we buy these things.

Two out of five were bad. I traced it with an ohmmeter and found that I had no circuit from at least one wire on each of the two failed sockets to the pins in this connector. Sometimes it was possible to get a chain by putting the wires in the connector, but I need a very reliable connector where they enter my RV. The plastic parts of the plug appear to be well made and the seal is very strong and seems to keep out dust and moisture very well, but what's the point if the electrical connection…

I'm only giving this 4 stars at the moment because I don't yet know how waterproof they really are, but the design for a cheap Chinese made connector kit seems to be quite high quality. Plugged in and unplugged a few times, no problem, I used two of these in my overhead console project so I could quickly remove them for maintenance and two to replace the crappy spade connectors that my two front LED light bars came with became. Satisfied so far, the body casting is normal, there are no flashes…
