Works best in cables and connectors

Nicely done. Feelings matter. Using a wired internet connection for a Sony TV with a Powerline TPLink ENet adapter replacing the Cat 6 cable.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • fade

Cons
  • Long wait

Secure connection

I like strong connections. It would be hard to break. It snaps firmly into place. A cable of high quality and thickness shows how well made it is and how much attention to detail has gone into its manufacture.

Pros
  • Inspires trust
Cons
  • There are nuances

We have solved our WiFi problems!

I've been using it for a few months now and it works as it should. Use it for our gaming consoles, bought 4. We also have a wireless network but the internet started having problems and losing wireless internet connection. That solved the problem!

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • It worries me

Works great for cables and connections

My WLAN has been heavily buffered in the last few weeks. I bought this to connect my modem directly to my firestick. Now I have some buffering from time to time instead of all the time. I've noticed that my WiFi to my wife and laptops isn't always available anymore. It has helped us enjoy the internet again.

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Something is wrong

It worked better than my old Cat 5 cables - HAPPY!

I just bought a Netgear Orbi AX4200 router/satellite system and was looking to upgrade my Cat cable connection from my high speed 3.1 cable modem to a new router and switch. Worked better than expected and the flat cables were easy to manage in some of the tight corners in my media cabinet. A GOOD THING!

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Compatibility

Works great and easy to store.

The flat cable design is what I need as my computer is mainly connected to WiFi. I bought this cable to transfer LARGE files to my NAS to cut the time from hours to minutes and only use it once a month for a full system backup. The flat cable is easy to roll up and store away and takes up much less space than a traditional round cable.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Definitely a high quality and durable cable!

Loved the fast shipping and the quality of the cord. Used it to move a modem router from fiber to coax and CAT connector to another location in the room. Lost more than a hundred MB of signal over WiFi. I returned the modem to its original position and restored the 200MB speed. Instead use a Cat 8 cable from the modem to the ROKU box across the room, don't know the speed but will transfer movies just fine.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Socket required

Don't buy CAT8 ethernet cables unless you have 40Gb switches

Don't buy CAT8 ethernet cables unless you have 40Gb switches. I have 10Gbps switches and it slowed down my network and I went back to my CAT7 cables and my network was fast again. Also, CAT8 cables are only good for up to 100 meters or 98 feet before losing speed. So if you run more than 30 meters you turn your CAT8 cables into expensive CAT7 or CAT6a cables and your performance will be affected beyond 30 meters. I made that mistake and kicked myself at A*S for not doing my research. I shouldโ€ฆ

It works. and does what it should.

I confess I was skeptical that category 8 cables are not an official standard and before that I bought a category 6 cable from BestBuy. I decided today to replace it with a cable from my ONT to my fiber optic modem (and yes there are other factors like time of day, fiber network congestion, it's not a dedicated line and cable from my modem). to my computer), but overall I seem to actually notice the improvement in speed consistency I've seen between the 50ft Insignia cable and this one.
