It works, but the wording is misleading.

Ethernet adapter works but the wording is misleading. The included OTG cable is actually required to connect the Ethernet adapter to the Firestick and does not create an additional USB port for the Firestick. I wanted wired internet access and a USB drive for extra storage, but couldn't do that with a single USB port. I added a second OTG adapter identical to the one provided here, from the same company, but it didn't work. It seems pointless to use the ethernet cable and the OTG cable as…

Good and cheap update

I bought two of these adapters for my Revain Fire Stick 4k. It was very easy to set up, just plug the included cable between the USB power cord and the stick. Then connect the Ethernet cable. It worked right away. I restarted the Fire Stick and checked the network settings to make sure it was working over ethernet. I have static network settings (IP, netmask, router and both DNS) set. Wait 5-10 minutes after connecting!

Let me first say that my WiFi (AT&T) was very weak. Too much buffering for one person streaming from the internet. I wanted to try this ethernet adapter before I return to cable TV. I have a 4k Fire Stick with no issues. In my own experience, Wi-Fi is not a good idea for watching TV. I connected my ethernet adapter in less than five minutes.
