Right size for the job, great connectivity between switch and Mac OS

Purchased to provide ethernet capabilities for my MAC Mini system. Cables are cables, but the proof is in the pudding. I am very happy with the conductivity of this cable compared to more expensive cables. Why pay high prices when they work just as well or even better. Other than buying in bulk, this is the way to go.

  • Free for educational purposes

Good cable for computer accessories and peripherals

I don't know the micro specs of the transfer rate but I use this cable from my router to my computer and it works great for downloading and uploading data. Btw I have cable internet which is supposed to be 200Mbps so I'm used to things coming and going pretty quickly and I don't notice any difference between using this cable through a router and connecting directly to the modem using other cables that I have used in the past. I'm happy with that.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Low maintainability

Absolutely good cable

Especially considering the price, the cable is made of good materials; not cheap plastic that won't bend. I move them around (tucked into my ceiling panels and the knobs compress/push them against the wall) from time to time and nothing looks damaged or loose. I have received approval from this IT professional. UltrClar cables are the first thing I look at at Revain, settling for two or three 75 foot CAT 6 cables that I bought years ago. They still look almost new. Yes. They are cables doing…

Not Cat6, not 550MHz, only 250MHz

As others have said, it's only 250MHz, not 550MHz as advertised. The cables themselves clearly state 250 MHz. I ran them on multiple devices. A pair of 20ft cables, 10ft cables and 6ft cables. After seeing speed reports I tested my own speeds on my PC and noticed 250MHz on the side of the cables I just bought. I quickly returned them for Cable Matters Cat6, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C2CA3N8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and more than doubled their speed. and 10 feet…

Pros
  • Cat 6 cable
Cons
  • No power

My IT support uses a lot of pre-built cables. These cables are perfect for my personal project of running my cable modem and other networking gear into an electrical/electronics panel in my basement. 20 feet turned out to be the perfect length for this project. These Cat6 cables provided a reliable connection for this project. I like the 2 (black/blue) colors that help me keep the cable modem channel in a different color code than the private network color code coming from my firewall. Good…
