I never knew cables had data transmission values. I'm upgrading from Category 5 to Category 8 cabling. One improvement I've noticed is that the Wi-Fi connection is more resilient than Category 5 cabling. I have three different WiFi routers at home: 300MB, 866 MB and 1.1GB. Works well.
