Works Great! It was easy to install and came with one AAA battery. I was concerned because there weren't many reviews yet, but this was the cheapest I found so I decided to give it a try. Temperament and tuning readings are the same as the analog versions I have. It's worth it. (I added a white label myself to make it easier for me to keep track of where the temperature and humidity should be in my snake tank.)

The thing works. And it's pretty accurate when the sensors are positioned correctly. At one point we thought the hygrometer wasn't working properly because the readings were very low even right after our gecko tank was fogged up. But it happened that the humidity sensor, which was placed in the corner, was turned so that the open part of the grille was facing the corner. As soon as we repositioned it, it gave the correct reading again.

The product is easy to use and understand. You can select In and Outdoor (wherever you place the temperature and/or humidity sensors), C and F, Min/Max. Doesn't give you a permanent or 24 hour min/max value, although all you have to do is press and hold the min/max button to easily reset to the desired value. I give him 5 stars. I bought this to use in my quail egg incubator. That works great. I placed the display outside and the probes inside. The last display I put in died due to too much moisture behind the screen, this solves this problem nicely. So far 33 out of 39 eggs have hatched with my last hatch - I think this is due to better moisture control. However, this hygrometer does not have the same readings as the dial hygrometer that I also purchased. I'm not sure which is more accurate, but I base all my concerns

They are more accurate than I expected given the price. I installed 17 of these side by side and took temperature and humidity readings over the course of a week. They are very accurate and they are very accurate to each other. Typically, the Fahrenheit temperature between 17 of them was within 0.6° of each other. I need to check the temperature of the incubator. It's pretty close. I have 2 of them and they are a power apart so I'm just averaging them for my crappy incubator temp. . For eggs, the rate of hatching is directly related to temperature, so if it deviates by half a degree, hatching will stop. You will not get a good hatch rate if you incubate below 99.5-100.5 F°.
