Third pair, I plan to buy them for life

I've tried on three pairs of these shoes in the last four years and now they're definitely my go-to for stylish everyday sneakers. Comfortable, affordable, many color options, vegan construction, durable. I like making easy purchasing decisions, so I'll keep buying these until they (hopefully never!) get discontinued!

Pros
  • Trial for a year
Cons
  • Appearance

Looks like bowling shoes

Didn't notice it in the pictures but when they arrived the brown label on the back looks like bowling shoes. After noticing this, I realized that they didn't fit me. They were also too tight, the last pair of Etnies I bought fit really well but these are small. You think they will keep their size constant which has made me have less respect for brand quality.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Great looking shoes but too narrow

I've seen these shoes and I really like them. I ordered size 12 which I wear at Vans, Nike, ecco etc. The length of the shoe was good but they were uncomfortably tight. I have wide feet but can still wear regular shoes from most brands. These shoes were very narrow, which immediately made me realize that I would be comfortable in them. I hate them because they look amazing and seem to be well made.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Good for the 3 months they have lasted

The shoes are quite comfortable and look good but after 3 months of use the bottom has fallen apart. This is my third pair of Ethnis I've owned and both old pairs have lasted much longer. I've read complaints from people saying the new Jameson boots are rubbish and I have to agree. Etnies definitely needs to go back to what they did because the new shoes don't last as long as the old ones. I won't be buying another pair unless I fix this problem.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • The lace is shorter than others

Most Inconvenient Etnies

I've been wearing Etnies for 20 years (yes I'm old but I can still skate). Etnies are generally very comfortable, well padded, pretty darn durable and great for big feet like mine. ECO shoes have no cushioning or arch support at all. They are also much narrower than traditional Etnies. They are not very comfortable for skating and are not suitable for work shoes due to poor arch support and weak cushioning. Pay more for a real pair of Etnies!

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • disappears
