We've had this for almost 2 years. The dimming function no longer works. It's cheap, so we'll replace it, but it's frustrating. Especially since this thing is BRIGHT when not dimmed.

I like how you can change colors and brightness. It can be very bright to illuminate the room at night, or dim if that's what you prefer. Super cute and would be a good gift.

More than I expected. The light is bright with various settings including the duration of the off. The mermaid fits our daughter perfectly and the product seems to be durable. The right size, not small but not too big, perfect. Definitely a plus as a gift.

That was nice. But only half lit. Sure, I ordered it as a birthday gift and didn't test it beforehand, but my daughter brought it to a friend and when she unwrapped it and plugged it in, it only worked halfway. Too bad because it was pretty cool.

I bought this for my 4 year old niece who is now in love with mermaids. I was disappointed with the size as it was advertised as a lamp and the real mermaid is only about 6 inches tall. Another downside is that the power adapter was not included! Stages causes it to dim and flicker instead of a constant light. Pros: It includes an auto-off timer (have to use the remote to activate it after 1, 2, 4, 8, 12, or 24 hours of shutdown). Overall I think my niece will love it although I was a bit…
