ETUDE HOUSE Moistfull Collagen Emulsion Review

I was a huge fan of this moisturizer before they recently changed the formula. The new formula has a terribly strong odor! Does that remind me of that really strong vibe you felt when your aunt or grandmother hugged you when you were little? It is like it is. It's enough that even though this is the only moisturizer that has helped my skin, after trying a dozen different types and researching for weeks, I won't be buying it again. I really like this smell. I feel like it really hydrates my face. I included it in my Korean skincare routine. It didn't break me and my face is quite sensitive and after a month of use I can definitely say my face is softer and clearer. It is very light, absorbs quickly and does not leave a sticky feeling. Etude is a great brand. The upside is that there's a lot in the bottle and you can't beat the price.

This is the first time I've tried this product in addition to my usual skincare routine and I love it! It is easy to apply on the face and neck as it is not heavy and thick. The packaging is good, but age! The bottle cannot be crushed because it is made of hard plastic! I wish they made it compressible so it's easy. It has a good smell, I think it's good. However, I use this during the day after my moisturizer and before my SPF. If you use the product correctly, you will not get acne.

This stuff is amazing if anyone is wondering that the emulsion is applied BEFORE the moisturizer. So if you feel like it's "not hydrating enough" and you're using it as the final step in your skincare routine, that's probably why. I have dry combination skin, mostly dry, and I put this on, then my face oil, then my moisturizer and it works MIRACLES for me. I've been using this particular emulsion for a few years now and I've always liked it. It's very good for the price and the old formula still had a very nice light scent too. The new formula still works the same for hydration, but the new scent is terrible for me. It reminds me of those cheap scents that are sprayed on some dolls and children's toys to give them that chemically artificial strawberry-berry-cherry scent that's too intense, over the top, and doesn't smell very good anyway.
