We purchased these by pass rails for an install of doors in our hallway closet. This hardware is not true by pass. Part of your door will get caught on the other door with this set up. I was not aware of this, as this was the first time installing by pass barn doors. The product works well and is thick and sturdy, however not real by pass. Sent note to the seller, no responses

This is NOT bypass hardware for TWO barn doors. If you make the mistake thinking it is, you will need to purchase other hardware to go along with it. Such a hassle.We started to put this together, and the two doors would not slide pass one another. The top brackets just collided against one another. Ended up returning this set, and purchasing actual bypass hardware.

Reading the reviews a few things become apparent. First: these are not true double bypass doors and they were not advertised as such. The single rail is designed for folks like me who do not want the depth of a double rail, full bypass hardware kit protruding from the wall. In my case a walk-in closet. Second: why in the heck would you size and build or buy doors before you receive your hardware kit and establish needed measurements. Third: the company clearly states there is a overlap of the…

i am very disappointed that the hardware was mismatched and they did not provide me with 4 like pieces to mount my doors correctly on this single bar for a double door. and to add to the fire, you can't get ahold of anybody at smartstandard Looks like they are going out of business with 90% of their stock listed as sold out and no phone number given. I'm left with an assortment of jerry rigging to make this thing presentable.

I received the item. Their customer service was fair but aggravating at times. I must have talked to at least eight people over the course of four or five months. I’ve waited to write a review to see how the item held up. And so far it’s ok. The quality is fair, the welds appear to be good. It’s sturdy with some weight. Overall it’s a decent product. I did receive a massive discount because Of the long wait too which I thought was more than fair.

This product is expensive for not being able to use the screws it comes with. They seem to be made of a very soft metal coated in plastic and they broke during installation. I had to go buy real screws just to attach this to my wall. You also have to buy a 2x4 piece of wood to put in between toys mount and your wall or it could become detached. It doesn't state that in the description until you read the institutions. If you have hardwood flooring just know the track liners it comes with to keep

Installed it and outside door stuck way out and looked awful. We basically wanted a duplicate of the other brackets for a closer fit. We were unable to purchase just the brackets so now I am left with a ton of extra parts and expense. Unable to reach anyone at the company so forced to buy a second kit. Made door coats go way up and would never order this again.

Easy to install. Always get 6" to a foot bigger than the door way opening. Made of good quality material. Looks great after installation

Ok product, every measurement in the directions is wrong. Don't follow them or you'll wind up frustrated like me when the door hangars are 2 inches above the rail.

Super easy to install. Seems really sturdy, and like it will withstand a lot of heavy use. High quality! Make sure you have metric tools on hand - especially Allen wrenches. The cheap ones they give you are stripped after one use!

Me and my wife purchased this thinking it came with the doors but it doesn't. Most comments mention the door that we're shipped and the listing said doors and hardware included. Maybe we bought them after a change or something but almost 100 bucks for hardware is a bit pricey. I could have went to my local store and got the hardware cheaper

Finally had these assembled and they are clearly warped. They don’t glide properly and bang in to each other when trying to open them. What can I do? I assembled them and try to return them. What a hassle! Don’t buy these.

Great product, however the screws included snapped in half without being fully tightened into the header board (not even halfway!). The screw quality does not match the quality of the rollers and track, so be prepared to purchase additional supplies when installing

Easy to install. Everything as pictured. Add a beautiful touch to my living room space. Gave the whole place a different look!

This is a good strong product. But you need to realize as in another review these DO not bypass so the door and the rail has to be extra to allow for where the rollers hit. I had to make one door stationary which turned out good too. And they tell you the doors can only be so thick but they don’t tell you that includes the hanger bracket.

Make sure you make one door much wider then the other! The overlap of the wheels takes up a lot of space. If you mess up like we did, you can do something like this. we made the one door stationary by chopping off the wheels on the inside bracket and bolting it straight to the wall. All and all. Great product.

Well made product that is well packaged and has good instructions. I used outside and was glad to see everything was made of metal, no plastic.

Very sturdy and rollers are so smooth and much larger than expected. We love it. So happy with our product. Good quality! I recomend.

You will have an overlap and the doors don’t actually slide past one another. The installation process may require modifications to your existing walls or doorframes, making it less convenient.
