Brackets made outside door stick way out

Installed it and outside door stuck way out and looked awful. We basically wanted a duplicate of the other brackets for a closer fit. We were unable to purchase just the brackets so now I am left with a ton of extra parts and expense. Unable to reach anyone at the company so forced to buy a second kit. Made door coats go way up and would never order this again.

Haven’t actually installed hardware, waiting on custom wooden doors. Hardware is beautiful though!!❤️
