This is a very soothing and moisturizing cream. I would recommend it right after a bath with her shampoo/wash. It's a little shiny as it goes on, but it fades. I've never been able to apply it to my face (skin is too oily) but I would do it as a last resort. Stay away if you have issues with shea butter but other than that this is a great product. I am a grown man but I use this lotion for me. I have VERY dry skin in winter. to pain, rashes, and sometimes even cracked and bleeding skin. I usually lather my skin with this material. it's so gentle and soft and so effective. It can be a bit "greasy" but it absorbs completely pretty quickly so the oiliness goes away pretty quickly. Can't recommend enough. I keep one tube in the bathroom by the sink and one in the kitchen by the sink so I can apply it as soon as I wash my hands.
